Bellur Krishnamachar &
Seshamma Smaraka Niddhi Trust (BKSSNT), was formed with
a vision to serve the village Bellur with all the necessities. This
will help not only the villagers but also the children of villages
near by Bellur.
Guruji, who left Bellur at the age of 18 has a lot of concern for
his birth place, Bellur.
BKSSNT is a charitable trust and has undertaken as well as completed
several projects with focused aim. Click here to know more about

RIM Hall: The Yogacharini Ramamani Iyengar
Memorial Hall was constructed above the school in Bellur. This infrastructure
is primarily used for yoga classes.
Conducting yoga classes for children: Regular classes in
RIM hall are conducted for the children from Bellur and neighbouring
villages.
Construction of water storage tank: The BKSSNT has resolved
one of the most basic needs of the villagers – clean drinking
water. A storage tank with a capacity of 50000 gallons has been
constructed, which supplies regular drinking water to the village.
Special High School for girls: It is
understood that the girls from Bellur generally discontinue education
after 7th grade since there is no good school nearby. Their parents
are reluctant to send their teenaged daughters to the neighbouring
village school.
The foundation stone for Girls high school was laid by Guruji on
27 January 2005.
